Over the course of three months, Meron created portraits of 10 men and women who earned college degrees from the University of Washington after being released from prison. He worked alongside Omari Amili (above), a formerly incarcerated author, to interview each of these powerful stories of redemption and create a body of work that represented not only their determination but their pride and happiness for creating success in their lives.
