Growing up along the west coast and Hawaii, he studied graphic design and 3D animation and has been a game developer since 1998. Dan received his first DSLR in 2006 and began absorbing everything he could about creating images and the art of photography. He soon began shooting portraits, weddings, products, and landscapes.
Dan's background in design and computer graphics has helped focus his style. With a minimalist approach and eye for detail, he strives to evoke emotion in his images without imposing a specific feeling on the viewer. The result is photography that stands apart from any definitive time or place, transcending the moment it was taken.
